A local favorite. Authentic and reasonably priced. Excellent service - helps if you are able to speak Spanish. Highly recommend.
The food was EXCEPTIONAL, I took my aunt who lives in El Salvador, the Pupusas were to die for.
I've wanted to try El Salvador Bakery for quite some time because the parking lot is always full and it didn't disappoint! Between the two of us we ordered a carnitas torta, a cheese pupusa, and two chicken and cheese pupusas. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly, the service was very friendly, and the ambiance was so authentic. There's a grocery area but we didn't do any shopping. Other people ordered these HUGE bowls of soup that looked so good and I for sure will be trying one when I return. I highly recommend El Salvador Bakery!!
The chicken and cheese papusas are soooo good. Also, had the banana bread which was tasty. Will go back anytime I am in the area.
One of the more affordable spots for tacos where the location hasn't succumbed to gentrification. I recommend checking Smyrna, Georgia out for anyone who is a fan of traditional style tacos, Mexican food, and Salvadoran. If you drive to doraville not only do you wait 30 minutes to eat you also pay like two to three dollars more for a taco which is a scam
